FUNDRAISING GROWTH

Donor Evaluation: Wealth & Philanthropic Screening Know your donors with a detailed understanding into an individual’s propensity, capacity, and intent to engage with your organization. Reach your fundraising objectives by prioritizing your outreach, segmenting your donors, and personalizing your campaigns.

o   Wealth & philanthropic screening provides detailed profiles of your donors based on multiple data sets that include wealth capacity, donation history, giving categories, real estate, and general assets.

o   Maximize potential of appeals with detailed analytics and rankings for each donor that includes a score for annual, planned, and major gifts.

o Identification of top 20 donors with the capacity and affinity to grow giving and make a major gift, with an assigned target ask for a single gift aspiration and 5-year pledge.

o   Discover donors who are underperforming with a much greater capacity and affinity to increase giving.

 Donor Acquisition: Prospect Research Insights gained from the donor evaluation process are used to create your ideal donor acquisition model with screening methods that reveal prospects with similar wealth, lifestyle, and interests.  Align characteristics of your most loyal donors to find your next best prospects.

o   Based on your ideal donor archetype and specifications, a listing of new prospects is generated, complete with mailing and email addresses.

General Services: Fundraising support with drafting communications for annual giving, year-end appeals, capital campaigns, annual reports and press releases. Increase capacity with support with operational infrastructure, project management, safety standards, and talent acquisition.

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

Infrastructure: Manage the request-for-proposal process in the selection of CRM tools for point-of-sale, fundraising, e-commerce, retail store, etc.  Draft memorandum of understanding and contracts.  Develop cash handling procedures and daily operational protocol.  Provide floor management support by creating guest service and code of conduct standards and museum staffing models.  Prepare for opening by creating party standards, package options, and booking procedures for birthday parties, facility rentals, and camps.

Project Management Ensure that projects related to the completion of exhibits and the establishment of an operational infrastructure are on time, on budget, and within scope.  Outline key deliverables and milestones & identify the tasks that must be accomplished to complete each.  Oversee budget, timelines, risk, quality issues, and communications.  Serve as the primary liaison between outside entities and leadership.  Plan and execute soft openings for exhibit and museum openings.    

 Safety Standards Provides management with a complete training guide for the implementation of a comprehensive safety program.  Safety plan will incorporate Illness and Injury Prevention Program, Hazard Communication Program, Heat Illness Prevent Program (if applicable), Crisis Control and Active Shooter Protocol.  Safety standards includes enhanced public health guidelines related to COVID and incorporates a communication plan for addressing public messaging during times of crisis.

 Talent Acquisition: Provide talent acquisition support by drafting job descriptions, posting positions, sourcing prospects, conducting interviews, and delivering qualified diverse candidates.  Hire across departments and multiple levels of organization hierarchy, from entry-level to executive positions.  Scale personnel rapidly to meet peak seasons and start-ups. 

EARNED REVENUE DEVELOPMENT

Comprehensive evaluation of current offerings and price comparison modeling with regional competitors.  An analysis of findings is provided along with a proposal of actionable items to maximize earned revenue potential.

Attendance Growth: Signature Events Incorporation of mission focused signature events to drive attendance and increase awareness through free publicity opportunities.  Will provide a proposal for four events, including programmatic offerings that have proven to be successful within the children’s museum field. 

Attendance & Revenue Tracking Provide a budget-to-actual excel spreadsheet for the monitoring and tracking of daily attendance and each earned revenue stream.  Built in formulas makes it easy to compare actuals with budgeted projections and serves as a historical reference for forecasting earned revenue. Management can quickly ascertain which revenues are underperforming to proactively implement measures to correct the trajectory within the month.  The budget-to-actual spreadsheet can be utilized year-after-year and serves as a tool for tracking anything of significance that may have impacted the operation on a given day (i.e., inclement weather, high traffic events in the area, street closures, electricity outage, etc.). 

 Visitor Survey (Online) Execute an online visitor survey to gain a better understanding of audience demographics, geographic reach, competitive threats, potential partnerships, visitor satisfaction, and the most effective marketing avenues to maximize advertising return-on-investment.
